LET'S GET THE STUDENTS ACTING UP AGAIN!
Act Up! Online is our popular seasonal program designed to encourage students of all ages to explore their creativity and imagination through the use of theatre. It is a skills-based program where students will be given the opportunity to use exciting theatrical techniques in a variety of games and exercises.
Each class has been developed to provide a safe and fun environment allowing participants to grow in confidence and learn valuable skills that can easily transfer to everyday life.
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
Students will meet for regular rehearsals. Masks must be worn for the duration of the rehearsal process. StoryBook is still working with Alberta Health Services to determine the potential for the final class to be presented without masks in a film or theatre cohort format.
Prior to the first date of classes, a comprehensive document on how StoryBook will keep students safe will be provided. You can learn more about our current standard rehearsal processes HERE. The theatre school process will be much of the same with modifications for our theatre school students
FINAL PRESENTATION
Our final class will include a presentation which will be filmed and sent out following the class for families to enjoy.
