ABOUT THE SHOW

Caribbean adaptation of the famous fairy tale, The Little Mermaid, comes from the Tony Award-winning songwriting team of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Seussical, Ragtime). Earning eight Tony nominations, including Best Musical, Book and Score, the story follows Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with a wealthy boy named Daniel. However, the pompous gods who preside over their island make a bet with each other over which is stronger - love or death - with Ti Moune’s life at stake. Will Ti Mourne find true love? Or will she discover something much deeper, which breaks the walls that separate their society and unites them all?
